Food Bank Donation (09/04/20)

Southampton Gymnastics Club would like to say a huge thank you to all the raffle winners who have very kindly donated their Easter egg winnings in order for SGC to donate to the local food bank. These donations will go to families in the local area who would otherwise struggle to buy Easter eggs for their children and will be very grateful to be able to treat their children this weekend. Really lovely to see our gym family coming together at this difficult time to help the community. We had a lovely thank you letter from the food bank.

Home Challenges Facebook Page (27/03/20)

You can join our private Facebook group, exclusively for Southampton Gymnastics Club members. You can post photos, videos and updates showing off the skills and activities that they have been doing at home. Our coaches/volunteers are working hard behind the scenes, developing daily challenging for our gymnasts and we would love to see how they get on!

Please follow the link below, you will be asked three questions relating to information we hold on your child so that we can identify them as a member:https://www.facebook.com/groups/213454213082296/

Please note: we are only suggesting activities which can be safely achieved in your home, without coach supervision. We do not advise gymnasts performing somersaults, flics etc. It is so that we minimise the risk of injury wherever possible, the NHS are already busy enough!
Keep safe and be sensible!

Coronavirus Update (20/03/2020)

Thank you all for your patience and support during this uncertain time. We are so grateful to have so many positive messages of support.

It is with great sadness that as of the end of the day on Friday 20th March, we will be temporarily stopping all classes at Southampton Gymnastics Club for two weeks. We will then reassess the situation. We thank you all for your continued support. This decision was very difficult for us as a club, however the health and safety of our members, their families and staff remains our priority.

Our team are continuing to work hard behind the scenes making plans!

Stay safe everyone, take care of your loved ones and the most vulnerable in our communities. Remember to support local businesses and most importantly spend time together as a family - We hope to see you all soon
