In the Preparation Squad, the gymnasts are given the opportunity to improve their individual gymnastics, trampoline, tumbling, floor skills, flexibility, partner and team building skills, whilst being nurtured to reach their full potential by our team of dedicated and knowledgable coaches.
The Preparation Squad are taught the correct individual gymnastics skills in a manner appropriate for their age. Importantly, the group also practice partnership work in balancing, throwing and catching and also team building, cooperation and trust.
The children will compete in our annual club competition, as well as our renowned club gala display.
The squad train 3 days a week, for 2 hours.
For each training session, Preparation Squad gymnasts will be expected to have their hair up, socks for the trampoline, trainers in the spring/summer for running, leotard, shorts and a drink. Parents will be expected to contact the coach/office for lateness or illness and holiday form must be filled out and granted before booking any events.
The Preparation is an invitation only group, coaches will select children from our Gym Bobs, Recreational, Centre classes or Minis Groups.
